TextAPage social posting · optional

Approve once. It’s everywhere.

The same “publish” that puts a job page on your website can also post it to your Facebook page, Instagram and Google Business Profile. Same words you approved, same photos, a link back to the page. One text, one approval, four places.

Posting the job was always a second job.

You finish the work, and then someone is supposed to open three apps, pick the photos again, write a caption again, and remember the hashtags. Most weeks nobody does. The Facebook page goes quiet, the Instagram grid stops in March, and the Google Business Profile has not had a new post since it was set up.

Social posting folds all of that into the approval you already give. You read the page once. When you reply “publish,” the page goes live on your site and the same approved words go out to your social accounts.

No new writing. Nothing is rewritten between your approval and the post.

The rule social posting runs on

What happens after you reply “publish”

  1. The page goes live first

Your job page publishes on your own website, filed under its town, exactly as it always has. That part never waits on social.

  2. The caption is built from what you approved

The page’s approved headline and description, a link to the page, and your hashtags. Up to four photos from the job go with it.

  3. The rules run one more time

Compliance checks run again on the caption before anything posts. If the caption fails, that share is skipped. The page still publishes.

  4. It posts to your accounts

Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile, from the same approval. No second review, no copy and paste.

What the post is made of

Your approved words, not new ones

The caption is the headline and description you already read and approved, plus a link to the page on your site. Followers who want the full story land on a page you own.

Up to four photos

Pulled from the job you texted. The same photos that are on the page.

Your hashtags, set once

Town, trade and brand. Your account manager sets them up so you never type them again.

Built so a failed post never costs you a page

Social networks go down. Tokens expire. A caption trips a rule. None of that should stop your website from getting the job, so it does not:

  • If a network is down or a post fails, the page still goes live on your site
  • If the caption fails the compliance re-check, that share is skipped and the page still publishes
  • Some channels need a manual confirmation. Those are saved as ready-to-send drafts in your social planner, so one tap finishes them

Your website is the part you own, so it always goes first. The full approval loop is on how it works, and the privacy side is on privacy and approval.

The page is the record. The posts are the announcement.

Why the website always publishes first

Where it earns its keep

  1. Home services

Every finished roof, panel upgrade or patio becomes a Google Business Profile post with real photos from that town, plus a Facebook post your neighbors can share in the local groups. Keeping your profile active with real work is good practice for local search. We will not promise what it does to your rankings, because nobody honestly can. Find your trade on TextAPage for home services.

  2. Real estate

Text a new listing and the approved page becomes your just-listed post on Facebook, Instagram and your Google Business Profile in the same minute. Fair Housing protections run on the page and again on the caption. Start with listing pages or the real estate overview.

Turning it on

  1. Ask for it

Social posting is optional and off until you request it. Some businesses only want the website, and that is fine.

  2. Connect your accounts once

Your Facebook page, Instagram and Google Business Profile are connected one time in the social planner. Your account manager walks you through it.

  3. Keep texting

Nothing about your texts changes. You approve the page the same way, and the posts follow. Want a person running the rest of your social? That is our social media management team.

Social posting questions

Do I have to approve the social posts separately?

No. One approval covers the page and the posts. The caption is made from the words you already approved, and nothing is rewritten in between.

What if Facebook or Instagram is down when I publish?

The page still goes live on your website. A failed post never blocks the page.

Can I use it for some jobs and not others?

Ask your account manager how you want it set up. Social posting is switched on per business, and it stays off until you request it.

Will Google Business Profile posts help my rankings?

An active profile with real job photos is good practice for local search, but nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking, and we will not.

One text. Your website and your feeds.

See a job go from a text to a live page and a post in one take. Compare it to posting to Facebook by hand, or go back to the TextAPage overview.

Optional add-on. Switched on by your account manager. Pages always publish first.
