Our story

Built on Long Island. Named for the way we work.

Twin Shores opened in January 2024 with no outside money, no franchise playbook, and one conviction: family businesses deserve a marketing partner that acts like family.

January 2024

Twin Shores Marketing started the way most of our clients’ businesses did: small, personal, and on the strength of a promise. In January 2024, on Long Island, we opened our doors with a handful of local businesses who took a chance on a new agency because they liked how we talked to them. No investors. No inherited client list. Just work that had to be good enough to earn the next month.

Those first clients are still with us today. We think that says more about who we are than anything else on this page.

Why “Twin Shores”

We could invent a misty founding legend here. We won’t, because the truth is better and it’s ours.

The name starts where we did: Long Island, an island defined by its two shores. The North Shore and the South Shore are different worlds twenty minutes apart, and if you grew up here, both of them are home. Naming the company after them was our way of planting a flag: this is where we’re from, and we’re not pretending to be from anywhere else.

But the name carries a second meaning, and it’s the one we hire against. Every business relationship has two shores: yours and ours. Most agencies stand firmly on their own, protecting their contracts, their margins, and their exit. We built Twin Shores to stand on both. Your win has to be our win, or the whole thing is broken. That’s why you own every asset, why there are no long-term contracts, and why the owner’s cell number is part of the deal.

And there’s a third meaning we grew into: local roots, national reach. We started on one shore, ours, and today we serve family businesses on shores well beyond it: New York, Florida, Indiana, and points between. Long Island first. Nationwide always.

Why family businesses

In our first year, we noticed something we couldn’t unsee. Almost every owner who called us opened with the same story: the last agency burned them. A contract that auto-renewed while results never showed. A website held hostage on a proprietary platform. An ad account they were locked out of. Leads “generated” for them, then sold to the shop across town. A friendly salesperson who vanished the moment the deposit cleared.

The pattern wasn’t bad luck. The big marketing platforms are built to treat small businesses as interchangeable accounts, and family businesses get hit hardest, because the owner is too busy running the counter, the truck, or the kitchen to fight a corporation over a domain name. And the stakes are different for a family business. It’s not just revenue. It’s the mortgage, the kids’ college, and a name the whole town knows.

So we picked our lane on purpose. Twin Shores is the marketing agency for family-owned businesses, run by people who understand that when the business is the family, marketing isn’t a line item. It’s stewardship of the family name. We take that personally, because our name is on our door too.

How the pillars play out in real life

You own everything. Always. Your website, your domain, your ad accounts, your creative, your data. All of it registered to you from day one, in writing, with us as a guest. If we ever part ways, you keep the house and the keys. We just stop coming over.

We earn the relationship every month. No long-term contracts, on principle. Long contracts exist because an agency expects to lose you and wants to get paid anyway. Our clients stay because the work keeps working. Roughly 90% of the families who hire us stay, and our average client has been with us about two years, in an industry where relationships usually die in months.

Your voice, our expertise. We listen before we pitch. Every plan is built with the client, in the client’s voice, for that specific business. No buckets, no templates, no pushing your family’s brand into something it’s not. And every client gets Scott’s cell number, answered essentially around the clock. Not a support line. Not a ticket queue. The owner, on the phone, when you need him.

Then we built the tool our clients deserved.

Jacko AI exists because of our clients

We watched family businesses juggle six apps and still miss calls from the truck or the kitchen. So we built Jacko AI: every call, text, review, booking, and campaign in one place the client actually owns. We use it with every client, and it stands on its own at getjacko.ai.

Old-school values, newest tech

The handshake didn’t change. The tools did. Jacko is how a family business answers every lead at 2am without anyone in the family being awake at 2am.

Jacko Mobile

The whole platform in your pocket, because our clients don’t work at desks. See what Jacko does.

Where the story goes next

We’re still young, and we like it that way. Being two years old means every client matters enormously, every result is personal, and nobody here has had time to get cynical. What we have instead of decades is a track record we’d put against anyone’s: the families who started with us in 2024 are still at the table, and the table keeps getting longer.

The next chapter gets written with businesses like yours. If you want to know what working together actually looks like, start with what we do, or skip the reading and just call. That’s honestly how most of our best relationships started.

Come sit at the table.

Tell us where your business came from and where you want it to go. We’ll listen first. We always do.

No long-term contracts. No pressure. You own everything from day one.
