TextAPage for sports clubs and travel teams
Tournament weekend on the club website by Sunday night.
A coach texts a few photos and one sentence from the sideline. A page goes up on the club’s own website with the team, the event and the result, after a club admin approves it. Parents stop asking where the photos went.
1-833-219-2003 · The club approves every page
The club website still says last spring’s tryout dates.
Every weekend there are fourteen teams playing and two hundred photos in the parent group chat. The website, the one place families and new players look before they sign up, shows none of it. Whoever volunteered to run the site has a day job and three kids of their own.
Prospective families judge a club by how active it looks. A season of real pages, team by team and weekend by weekend, answers that question before they ever email the registrar.
The coaches already take the photos. Now one of them can text them in.
Who texts, who approves
-
Coaches and team managers text
Whoever is at the field sends the photos and a line: “U14 boys went 3 and 1 at the Suffolk Cup, lost the final in overtime.” No app to install, no login to share around, no volunteer training night.
-
Club admins approve
Every draft goes to the people the club chooses to sign off. Nothing goes live until an admin replies “publish.” If a photo or a sentence should not be public, it never is.
A weekend, three texts
-
Sunday, after the final
The coach texts four photos and the result from the parking lot. Team name, age group, event, how it went.
-
The draft comes back
It says only what the photos and the coach’s words support. No made-up scores, no invented quotes. Thin on detail? It holds and asks instead of guessing.
-
An admin replies “publish”
The page goes up on the club site. With social posting switched on, the same approval can share it to the club’s Facebook and Instagram. The club can just as easily leave that off.
Kids are on these pages. We start from that.
Only what the club texts
The page uses the names the club sends and nothing more. If the coach texts first names only, the page has first names only. It does not add surnames, schools, hometowns or any location beyond what the club put in the text.
Photo data stripped
GPS data is removed from every photo before anything is published, so a picture never gives away where a family lives.
The club decides
Your club’s photo policy, parent permissions and league rules are yours to apply. TextAPage gives you the approval step; it does not make legal judgments for you.
Pages clubs actually make
Tournament and game recaps
The weekend’s results with real photos, filed so families can find every team’s season in one place.
Team pages for the season
Team photo, age group, coach and the season so far, updated as the weekends add up.
Player spotlights
A milestone, a first goal, a senior night. Only with the details the club chooses to text, and only after an admin approves.
Tryouts and camps
A page with photos from last year’s camp and the dates you text, ready to share before sign-ups open.
Club questions
Can a coach publish a page without the club seeing it?
No. Every page waits for approval, and the club decides who approves. A coach can text a draft in, but it is not public until an admin replies “publish.”
Will players’ last names or towns show up?
Only if the club texts them. The page does not add surnames or locations beyond what is in the text, and photo GPS data is stripped automatically.
Does this make us compliant with our league’s media rules?
We do not make that claim. It gives your club an approval step on every page, so you can apply your own policies and permissions before anything goes live.
What if we got a score wrong?
Text UPDATE with the correction within a few days and it revises the most recent page from that phone, at the same web address, with the same approval step. Older pages, your account manager fixes. Details on how it works.
Make the club look as busy as it really is.
Bring your club admin to the demo and walk through the approval step together. More on showcase pages, privacy and approval, or the TextAPage overview.
Every page approved by the club. Pages live on the club’s own website.
