The Ownership Audit

Do you actually own your website?

Most owners find out the answer at the worst possible moment: the day they try to leave. We will tell you now, for free, in about twenty minutes.

No pitch deck, no obligation · 90% of the families who hire us stay

The questions nobody tells you to ask

When a family business hires a marketing company, almost nobody asks who ends up holding the keys. Then a few years later they want to move on, and they discover:

  • The domain is registered to the agency, not the business
  • The website cannot be exported, only rebuilt from scratch
  • The ad account belongs to the agency, and years of learning vanish with it
  • Conversion tracking was never actually connected, so nobody knows what worked
  • The contract auto-renewed ninety days ago

None of that is a surprise to the agency. It is the business model. It is only a surprise to the owner.

If leaving your agency would cost you your website, you never owned it. You were renting.

Why we started doing these teardowns for free

What we actually check

All of it from the outside. We need nothing from you but your web address, and we never contact your current agency.

  • Who your domain is registered toIf it is not your business, someone else controls your address.
  • Whether your site can actually leaveCan it be exported and moved, or would it need rebuilding?
  • Ad account ownershipYears of spend history disappear when the account is not yours.
  • Whether conversion tracking is connectedMost sites we look at cannot tell which ads produced a customer.
  • Structured data accuracyWe have found wrong phone numbers sitting in live code, quietly sending Google the wrong number.
  • Sitemap and indexing healthPages Google cannot find are pages that cannot earn.
  • Real page speed scoresThird-party measured, not our opinion.
  • Duplicate and abandoned tracking scriptsLeftovers from agencies past, slowing every page you serve.

You get a written report and a twenty-minute call to walk through it. If everything is healthy, we will tell you that and you will owe us nothing.

Why we can afford to give this away

Because our answer is not embarrassing

Every asset, account and domain belongs to our clients from day one, in writing. We can run this audit on our own clients and publish the results. Most agencies cannot, which is why none of them offer it.

No contracts either way

Month to month, always. Long contracts exist to guarantee agency income because they expect to lose you.

We are a family business too

Long Island, family owned, and the owner answers the phone. That is the number at the top of this page.

Straight answers

Is this really free, or is it a sales call in disguise?

It is free and there is no obligation. We will walk you through what we found and answer your questions. If you want help fixing it, we will tell you what that costs. If you would rather take the report to your current agency and ask them to fix it, that is a completely fine outcome and it has happened plenty of times.

What do you need from me?

Your web address. That is genuinely it. Everything we check is visible from the outside, so we need no logins, no passwords, and no access to anything.

Will you contact my current agency?

Never. This is between you and us. What you do with the findings is entirely your business.

How long does it take?

We turn the written report around within two business days, and the call takes about twenty minutes.

What if my site turns out to be fine?

Then we will say so plainly and you will have peace of mind for free. We would rather be the people who told you the truth than the people who invented a problem.
